Shop Kirsten was launched in January 2018 out of my tiny college dorm room. And kind of by mistake! What began as a Poshmark closet grew to be so much more, and fast—I truly had no idea I would monetize a hobby that would soon turn into a multi-faceted, successful business. 

 

After graduating with my B.S. in Human Development & Family Studies in 2019, I worked in the social work field for almost 3 years. Simultaneously, my business was growing at an overwhelming speed and I ended up going viral on Tiktok for my Positive Affirmations crew! I was flooded with thousands of orders and my business began to take off. I decided to pursue my business full time in the beginning of 2022. I later launched Shop Kirsten Social, a content creation and social media management business that currently works with local and worldwide clients! I also have customized products for 50+ businesses around the U.S. including yoga studios, vineyards, law firms, and more! 

 

I am so blessed with everything Shop Kirsten has become—a lifestyle blog, a brand, a positive, safe space that is passionate about spreading kindness amongst all kinds. I also document my small business journey on Instagram and provide tips to help others on theirs!
