I’ve been in my home a little over a year + I have made it my goal to carefully curate vs. filling space just to fill it. here’s some of my favorite finds thus far:

Life gets better 🤍

I am so so grateful for my time in social work. For almost 3 years, I got to work in an extremely important field that fulfilled me in so many ways. I always dreamed of becoming a therapist one day as I was known as the “friend with good advice” from a young age. My empathy and passion to make a difference propelled me in getting my B.S. in Human Development & Family Studies, landing a full time job as a case manager for individuals looking to become more independent after vision loss. I fully believe this job was essential to my growth. I learned so much about the world, other humans, and grew to be someone I am truly proud of today.

Walking away from a career that I was so passionate about was extremely difficult. However, I was burnt out from basically working 24/7 as I would get off my 9-5 to work until late hours on my small business. I was beginning to not be able to show up for my clients at my full time job like they deserved, and I absolutely was not showing up for myself like I deserved either. So in early 2022, I made the decision to pursue my small business full time.

It hasn’t been easy, but it’s a journey I’ll never take for granted. I am so grateful that this is my life, and I am so so grateful for everyone who has supported me throughout these years. It means the WORLD to me.

Just know you are truly capable of so many amazing things. Even the ones that scare you. I’m rooting for you friends, just as you have done for me!🫶
